WLIFW: Rahul Reddy

Rahul Reddy's collection was about the 'emotional extremes' and the thirst for inner peace. The clothes were wearable, understated and muted. The range of skirts, dresses and tops all had clean lines and had either ruching, appliques or play on textures to accent the pieces. The color palette was a mix of mustards, greys and mauves.

The texture and mustard are the highlights of this collection. I visualise these garments on people who want to live quiet, peaceful and laidback life, who are spiritual, use organic products, deeply feel for animal cruelty, sincerely care about environment and have interests in arts. While the footwear also helped me in visualizing, I feel one or two pairs of them were enough for the runaway.

loved the skirts... had a very calm tone to it... not too complicated... ...simple!

great casual wear and yet screams "EXPENSIVE!!!!" the muted earth tones are a eye-pleaser.
not digging the fish-scale look on the 6th dress though.

Is the look Bohemian Chic? becos the bathroom flip flops really not required. Fits could be better. Little throw back to grunge.
