WLIFW: Rajesh Pratap Singh
Rajesh Pratap Singh's collection stayed predominantly black kicked up by oranges and blues. Jodhpurs, sheath dresses, biker jackets, coats, hooded pieces all made up the collection. All the pieces in the collection were severely constructed yet retained their feminine appeal.

Loved it !
Besides the obvious black and metallic, I am seeing fair amount of orange and I like it. Electric blue was desirable two seasons ago for me, but not now. I like the fourth, fifth and seventh garments, and finally I am seeing the shoes I wanted. About the sleeve/shoulder detail in the fifth dress, I first saw on the net in 2006 Paris fashion show by an emerging Taiwanese designer duo, and then I saw in some other designers’ collection. I assume it’s an inspiration from a tribe in some Asian country.
Seriously one of the better collections, good fit, and good finish- even evident in the pictures.
the ideas looked borrowed from recent runway shows in paris and milan esp. the hoods incorporated in jackets..
