WLIFW: Manish Arora

Manish Arora's collection was all about the world of fantasy warriors!

There were metal armours, pop culture images like Mickey Mouse from Disney and from Japanese avant-garde artist Keiichi Tanaami, Japanese Samurai influences and anything medieval infused with pop-culture kitsch.

Crystals, stones, metallics, shimmer, constructed shoulders, layered textures, intricate embroideries, origami'esque construction and bead-work all made up the collection.

Each and every piece is unique, unpredictable and never ceases to surprise. I would so wear the first outfit if I could afford, especially the jacket. His collections are always so crazy, random and intriguing; I think he explores and exudes his wild side through his work. I hope he continues to live above expectations as he always does.

nothing in there i would personally wear, but then again this is an expression of creativity. and for that reason alone i would love, love to see these designs on the catwalk.
