WLIFW: Varun Bahl
Can you smell the roses yet? Varun Bahl's collection had romantic roses that were presented in all sorts of textures and colors.
Copper tones, taupe, black, and chocolate were the dominant colors of this collection used with silk and velvet material. The jackets and skirts featured some intricate embroidery. The mens collection seemed a little busy with ribbon ties on shirts and jackets.

His manipulation of fabric to create texture is the highlight of the collection. The silhouettes are modern, but not trend setting or fashion forward. In the menswear section, the velvet olive pant and the drapped silk jersey have to be removed, and also the gathered ribbon forming a bow in the silk shirt.
the metrosexual look for the men are acceptable but i will never understand borrowing feminine patterns like frills and bows (yup, i'm talking about the shirt in the second last picture).they may represent fashion eccentricity and something designers like to explore but, like i said, don't like the fine line they draw between men and women's clothing.
