Seeing Pink!

Elizabeth Hurley wore a beautiful blush ombre sari at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's Hottest Pink Party Ever 2008 and gotta say she definitely is one of the very few non-Indian women to wear a sari so gracefully!

Note how similar it is to the sari that Katrina wore to the race premiere, the same work and the same ombre effect except, I prefer Liz's blush version over Kaif's hot pink!

Bag Spotting!

Preity and Nandita have the belt. Celina has the clutch. We were hoping to see just one but were treated to two sightings of the Fendi B shoulder bag. First, in the movie "Race" on Katrina and then again on Amisha at Manish Malhotra's show.

Of Sequins And Scales

Spotted. Katrina Kaif donning a sari yet again to the Delhi premiere of "Race". The beige sari had the same fish-scale-esque sequin work just like the sari Tabu wore to the Filmfare Awards.

I prefered Tabu's, since the border on Katrina's is way too gaudy for my taste? Which one is your favorite?

Urmila at a store launch came off looking like the 'desi' version of a Vegas showgirl- crystals, feathers, bling, et al! And Katrina, well, she looked like a leprechaun's pot of gold exploded all over her!

In the FaceOff between bad and bad, Kaif fares a bit better but thats no real compliment either, is it? Who gets your vote?

Gaultier still seems mesmerized by Bollywood and Ms. Kaif. We found out that Katrina's outfit on the Vogue cover is quite old though! Spring 2007 Couture old! In fashion terms that is more than five collections ago (counting Resort, Ready To Wear and Couture)!

Vogue can't pass old material as new to us! As Amy Wino would say "No No No!"

Keeping It Simple?

We have been noticing this trend where actors wear a very simple outfit that is embellished with gemstones. While the concept seems interesting, we are yet to see a really good example of this. Vidya's and Katrina's outfits totally lack that "wow" factor.
