A White Out vs A Black Out!

Sameera and Kangana decided to go monochromatic recently, except neither could make it work!

Sameera as usual had to screw up with bad footwear. Kangana's satin bustier could've worked if she just hadn't paired it with cotton pants that although were black, they were a totally different shade! A contrast like that neither looks good in person nor in pics.

Separated At Birth?

Wow. I thought Sameera had it bad at the recent Miss India competition with her costume until I had a look at Katie Price, who showed up to the signing of her own book "Mermaids and Price" dressed in her best mermaid costume. Except, it ain't so nice, is it?

Don't these people review the "costumes" before wearing them? Oh well, guess, I can't complain! It partly because they get such things wrong that we get to write about them! ;)

The version in white that Sameera wore at Neeta Lulla's show didn't work for us then, the version in cream/beige that she wore at a recent press conference doesn't work for us now!

Something about it screams 'costume-y' and might undoubtedly look great on film, but we wish it stayed put on the sets!

How To Kill A Look?

Sameera really has a knack of wearing a a pretty good outfit but then teaming it with just the most horrible footwear. She did it again at the premiere of "Race" wearing a really blingy sandal. Nothing wrong with jewelled footwear, but I despise the rectangular look that this pair has! Looks so chunky!

The Battle Of Pink

First it was Gauri with that hideous shade of neon pink/mauve lipstick at Farah Ali's anniversary party/filmfare after-party that did absolutely nothing for her and now I spot Sameera Reddy in that shade of disaster!

While I can make no excuses for Gauri, except perhaps lack of mirrors and other shiny surfaces in her vicinity, what do you think of Sameera's look?

For me, this round goes to Sameera owing purely to the 'in-comparison-factor'!

I almost fell out of my chair seeing Shreya in this ensemble at the music launch of Race. Is this the same girl that wore white shiny tights to the music launch of Om Shanti Om??

While she didn't get it completely right (the patterned opaque tights with the slip-ons), we are going to be nice and give her loads of credit just for trying!

At The Mumbai Festival 08

Celina Jaitely walked the ramp for Narendra Ahmed and Sameera Reddy took to the ramp for Neeta Lulla during the Mumbai Festival 08.

Both ladies (or should I say their designers?) left me disappointed! Their styling was so inept and instead of working in their favor, it just made them look so frumpy and amateur! Sameera's lehenga wasn't even long enough...how did Lulla send her up on the runway like that??
