i have never been into these collars, dunno why. i feel the only people they look good on are the chinese themselves. and on hema.....i am liking the one on the left more than the black....maybe if the flowers were missing it would have looked less stuffy. either ways, its not the best look i have seen on her.
nah. i think she should stick to sarees. she doesnt have the body language that goes with western wear. (okay i know chinese collars are not western wear but you know what i mean!)

Besides, why would you forgo a sari/ salwar kurta for the Saawariya premiere, for gawd's sake?
agree with other folks in the comment box.... its looks good only on chinese people. She looks horrible in these...
she is totally strugging to carry the look or we are not use seeing hema in wester attire !
The collar gives her a very boxy appearance. Not elegant at all - especially when compared to how she looks in a sari as others have pointed out.
But ... what amazing skin this woman has! Talk about aging gracefully.
