Rick Roy: A Little Too Inspired
We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw Nalanda's design that looked exactly like the one from Marchesa. Now, we see a design by Rick Roy for Kangana Ranaut that looks so similar to a design from Valentino's Spring 2008 collection!
If I were to be in Kangana's shoes, maybe I would drop someone who was so inspired by other's designs. ;)

Some action must be taken at these copycat designers. shame on Nalanda and Ricky...i'm sure many more INDIAN COPYCAT DESIGNERS will pop up out in the open soon. That's despicable!!
She looks good though, for a change. Although I agree that knockoffs are sad although everywhere in the world, not in India only.
The likes of Nalanda and Rick Roy are just tailors-darzis not designers.

Kangana looks great, kudos to her, and brick bats to the idiot who 'designs for hre', he did not even bother to change the colour..how sad is that!

This isn't the first time Rick Roy has plagiarised. He has stolen work from some younger designer earlier.

I work closely with the Fashion Week team. And I did point out the Nalanda case to them. And they laughed it off! I guess everyone does it! And they dont want to lose earnings or open a pandora's box by barring anyone.
