The Reign Of "Empire" Ruined!

While we do appreciate Sonali trying to step away from bright colors, someone also needs to tell her that she needs to stop wearing these short empire waist dresses she's been sporting recently.

An empire waist, firstly, looks good if you have a noticeably narrow waist which Sonali doesn't really have. Secondly, when wearing such a trend, either wear a long gown or pair the outfit with a dark pair of denims so that the whole outfit makes you look taller and leaner. In Sonali's case, both dresses make her look short and stout which she totally could have avoided!

Let's hope her next appearance is a notch above these last few!

I don't think I am ever going to see the day where Sonali gets it right. Until then, I am just gonna have to bring you more and more of her in disastrous outfits!

What puzzles me is how does she, who has no fashion sense, get invited to the launch of Upen Patel's new modelling agency??

The Good And The Oh-So-Very-Bad

Over-sized shades, well-fitting linen jacket, Gucci belt, Chanel bag and that knotted scarf and you get a very chic and well-turned out Karisma Kapoor.

On the other hand, the less that is said about Sonali Kulkarni the better! That sequinned excuse of a top, the cropped pants and those shoes are enough of a visual onslaught for one day (years actually, but knowing her am not getting my hopes up!)...

No "Anarkali" At This Award Show!

At the SET Max Stardust Awards, there was no sighting of the "Anarkali". In fact, apart from Celina, almost everyone attending chose to wear a dress. Some wore it long, some short.

Say "Na" To Shaina!

Shaina NC might be great at tying a sari but as a designer she surely dissapoints big time!

Just take a look at Sonali wearing one of the sari's from Shaina's new collection. As it is there is the overwhelming effect of the fake pearls on the sari but the overdose of the blingy ruby necklace just makes this whole ensemble so ugly!

Shobha De's collection seems to be even more appealing after taking a look at this!

Too Much "Bling" At Jhalak Dikhlaja Finals

And by "bling", I mean the blingy outfits worn by peeps to the Jhalak Dikhlaja finals. Seems like a little birdie warned Akki and Katrina and thats why they showed up in demure black outfits. Katrina was still nice enough and put on some bling by wearing a rhinestone belt. That was sweet, Katrina, but you shouldn't have. The outfit would have looked far better without the belt...

Don't Worry Sonali..

What happened is not the worst that could happen, because it already happened to Alexandra Kerry at the Cannes Film Festival 2004. Can you imagine being the daughter of John Kerry and then have pictures like this taken right in the middle of a presidential campaign!

Hopefully, you have learned a lesson..next time you wear black, make sure you stand in front of the mirror and take a million pictures before stepping out!

Am not even going to waste my breath on this one. The Saawariya premiere has got to have had the worst-dressed turn-out by far that I have seen in a long, long time!
