What's In A Bag?

A whole lot when you show up at an event dressed almost exactly like someone else! That moment happened at the launch of Chandra's latest collection where Karisma Kapoor and Lara Dutta showed up to the event wearing very similar outfits and even similar hairstyles. So much so, the difference between them could probably be made just by their bags!

And just normal bags, they weren't! Lara's was an Louis Vuitton right off the Spring 08 collection and Karishma was carrying the much desired Birkin in black! This round belonged to Karishma, just because you know how much we adore the birkin and hate the LV monograms!

Just when we thought Lara was addicted to her Louis Vuitton Manhattan, she was spotted at the launch of Watson Fitness with a Luella Heart Envelope Clutch. Then, days later she was back again in LV, but this time with the brand new Louis Vuitton Rayures Tote!

If a beautiful Lara can't make this dress look any better, there was no way the lady in the second pic could either, could she? And what's with this bling on clothes popping up everywhere?

This outfit looked ridiculous on Neha. I can't imagine why Lara Dutta also decided to wear it at the SET Stardust awards! Maybe the sponsors dictated her dress code!

What's Wrong?

I stared and stared at the left picture to try and figure out why the "Anarkali" silhoutte just does not seem to look good on Lara. The white outfit did not have the big sleeves that killed the look for at the Saawariya premiere. So what is it!

To me, it is the neckline! All the anarkalis that we have seen on the ladies of Bollywood have not had the round neckline and THAT seems to be a big factor.
What do you think??

(P.S. Not a big fan of mixing the LV with the white ensemble either!)

Will The Real "Anarkali" Please Stand Up!

Ms(Print) Lara!

I am not a big fan of the monogrammed LV. But, I still think people who carry a monogrammed LV should wear an outfit that is more of a solid color. But, when you couple a bag like that with a horsebit print like the dress Lara is wearing..it just gets too busy..It's almost like a war!(A war between the horsebit print and the monograms and somewhere in between is Lara!)

Day 3: Nokia-Rocky S

So, Rocky S did a collection which was inspired by the Nokia prism design mobile phones.. And it was booooooring! The collecion was quite repetitive, lacking in personality and idea..

Oh, and Lara Dutta walked the runway for the collection. Big whoppity-doo!
