This Is Tough!

I went to watch Welcome past weekend! And I love Malaika! She is smokin hot! If I had a baby and still looked as hot as her, I would thank the Lord!

But. But. But. I also got to see Malaika's major stretch marks when she showed up during the "Hoth Rasiley" song. And... that was weird!

Now, Malaika being Malaika has enough sex appeal that she don't need her outfit to be that low to where its revealing her stretch marks. So I am a little perturbed. She(for benefit of her doubt) either didn't realize that the stretch marks were showing or she was trying to show 'em off(that's what my friends are saying that she was trying)!

Anyhoo, the tough part is that, as mommies, is it okay to show it off, or are some things better hidden?

Edit:
Well, we all pretty much agree that as mommies, it is perfectly okay to show em off!

Another question is whether for actors, is it okay to show em off??

(I did add the promo here, but you won't be able to see the marks.)

Hi there:

I am a mommy of two with stretch marks and all. Honestly after working out day and night and reclaiming my body... I don't care if my stretch marks show up here and there. Not that I am on a roll to show them off - but hey if they do peek when I am wearing a chiffon saree - I absolutely not ashamed of them or will try to hide them.

My 2 cents.

I agree with the poster - more power to hot mommies!

Maybe not kosher in bollywood but stretch marks are just fine and don't look hideous. Sometimes women have no choice because they can be anywhere on your waist - so might as well not give a damn about them.

I would love to have Malaika's body - NOW!

hmmm...

I doubt she was showing it off. I am sure she was aware of them but her wardrobe is generally very revealing and she probably can't do much about them stretch marks. So be it.

I don't hide mine, they have faded with time. I don't see why it should be hidden - our mothers and grandmothers have worn sarees all their lives with stretchmarks peeking. It is what it is, don't look too close if you are offended.
