Day 2: Ashima-Leena

After the last two collections I was beginning to get a little worried but Ashima-Leena's collection put me out of my misery! The collection was titled 'Resonance', and resonant it was with Far East influences! Influences seemed drawn right out of blue pottery, kimonos, the colors, like those vibrant reds..it was beautiful!

All those patterns translated into exquisite digital prints on flowy fabrics made for stunning visual appeal! I mean, did you see how fabulous those saris look? Also, I loved the combination of that burnt orange with the blue print.. But my favorite has to be those whites with blue prints and a little embellishment! Gorgeous! Very reminiscent of someone lounging on an island like Capri!

The collection was really nicely done and I see pret doing very well!
