Do we have a new bag lady among us? Can't quite agree with Shweta Salve's choice, that particular Gucci clutch is very 'beh' and that Fendi spy is sooo 'has-been'..but, points for trying?

Bad And Bad: A FaceOff!
Urmila at a store launch came off looking like the 'desi' version of a Vegas showgirl- crystals, feathers, bling, et al! And Katrina, well, she looked like a leprechaun's pot of gold exploded all over her!
In the FaceOff between bad and bad, Kaif fares a bit better but thats no real compliment either, is it? Who gets your vote?

NYFW: Naeem Khan
We love Naeem Khan and its been a major gush-fest here...There is a reason why Naeem Khan is so popular on the red carpet, and, one look at his Fall collection and you know exactly why!
There were all sorts of prints, graphic, exotic, digitized Ikat, there were feathers, embellishments and sequins, there was drama and there was glamor! There had to be, after all Naeem Khan described his Fall show as, "A concentrated dose of glamour"!
Its hard to pick favorites but how gorgeous is that plum gown with crystal embellishment, or that flowy Ikat gown? And those cocktail dresses...
We'l be sure to see Naeem Khan on the red carpet (Oscars, Oscars, Oscars) now, won't we?

The Dress That Pops Up Everywhere!
This dress sure seems mega popular among the celebrities... We've seen this dress in blue on Mahima, Sophie and Priyanka Chopra, and now, the dress in its red avatar has found its way on Shamita Shetty...

The Louis Vuitton Advertisement
From The New York Times...
"IN an unusual marketing move for a fashion and luxury goods brand, Louis Vuitton said Tuesday that it planned to advertise on television for the first time, with a travel-themed 90-second spot that was shot in France, Spain, India and Japan.
The campaign, which will start Feb. 15, will run on cable and satellite television channels and in movie theaters around the world, the company said. It shows ordinary people, rather than celebrities like Catherine Deneuve, Andre Agassi and Mikhail Gorbachev, who are featured in a current print campaign for the label."
Read the complete article Here.
The ad is being called everything from being stylized and exquisite, to being boring and over-exposing a luxury brand! Now, you tell us what you think of the ad...

One More Thought
Spotted these two ladies at the 'One More Thought Entertainment' launch party and seriously, I can't remember the last time someone made leather look so damn bad! I do have 'one more thought' but its not very polite...

Only 'B' For A Belt
We know that Nandita Mahtani loves her Fendi B belt, we've seen her again n' again in it! Thankfully (unlike last time), she decided to change up the outfit with which to sport the belt...
Not a big fan of the Fendi Large B Buckle Belt...but her look at the unveiling of Arjun Khanna's collection catalogue ‘180 Degrees’ works...

A Hop, A Skip, A Jump
Spotted Shreya Saran at various events sporting the same 'school-girl-cute-dress' look again and again..Her look almost makes me want to play hopscotch. Almost. If I wasn't so mind-numbingly bored...
The fit remains the same, yawn..the length remains the same, the styling remains the same, the hair stays same, and...yawn..yeah, what was I saying..?

While his ladylove wore the same sari in different color, Saif was caught sporting the same bandana in a different color! We will ignore the T-shirt for now!

A Possible Front-Runner?
The year has just started and Kajol is zero for two already. She showed up at two events dressed in just ghastly outfits. I think we might have a front-runner for this year's worst dressed already!

Mehr In Tarun Tahiliani
We were so distracted by Mehr's striking collarbone that we totally ignored the outfit that she was wearing! Well, now that we are not so distracted, just wanted to let you all know that the former model was wearing a Tarun Tahiliani creation at the SET Stardust Awards. The woman makes anything look good!

From Drab To Fab!
Well there were rumours that Neha did not want any part in promoting her movie "Rama Rama Kya Hai Drama". That would explain her look at that movie's premiere! That metal studded blue belt! It is not hard to see that there was no effort put into that outfit.
Now, compare that outfit with the one she wore at the pre-release event of her other movie "Mithya". Everything was coordinated to the "T" and she looked pretty good! What a difference a movie makes?

Sameera Is Not Like Sonam
We were about to give Sameera a whole lotta grief for pairing a dress with slip-ons like Sonam, but then we saw another picture of her in strappy sandals.
The good news is that Sameera does know what shoes to wear with a dress. Unfortunately, the bad news is that she doesn't have very good taste in shoes!

Shreya: Now And Then
I almost fell out of my chair seeing Shreya in this ensemble at the music launch of Race. Is this the same girl that wore white shiny tights to the music launch of Om Shanti Om??
While she didn't get it completely right (the patterned opaque tights with the slip-ons), we are going to be nice and give her loads of credit just for trying!

At The Mumbai Festival 08
Celina Jaitely walked the ramp for Narendra Ahmed and Sameera Reddy took to the ramp for Neeta Lulla during the Mumbai Festival 08.
Both ladies (or should I say their designers?) left me disappointed! Their styling was so inept and instead of working in their favor, it just made them look so frumpy and amateur! Sameera's lehenga wasn't even long enough...how did Lulla send her up on the runway like that??

The Mad Hatter
Natasha Poonawalla at the Mcdowell Indian Derby sported a crazy, crazy hat! Got to admire the spunk (we'll just turn a blind eye to the fashion aesthetic for now - that outfit and those glasses are a crime!)!!
Looks like Ms. Poonawala took a cue from the Spring 2008 Couture shows where avant-garde hats seemed to have been the norm!
