Pretty In Pink?

Looking at these ladies got me thinking..do I own any pink in my wardrobe? Is it because I hate the color or just that maybe subconsciously, I think of pink as a color that is meant for young girls or the metrosexual man?

Before I ramble on, what I would like to know is that, firstly, do you wear a lot of pink and by that I mean an outfit that is completely pink? And, secondly, your verdict on these ladies who have been sporting the color in different styles.

I wasn't really impressed by Priyanka's Gaultier gown when I first saw it. The color was so dull for an event like the Filmfare Awards. I would have loved to see her in this other dress worn by Claire Danes, which was also from Gaultier's Fall 2007 collection and just so much more brighter!

Getting High Heeled With Choo

Swinging Highs And Swinging Lows

She had a bad day. Then a good day. And then a bad day. And then... you get the drift. And now this.. this is what Priyanka Chopra wore to the launch of Subi Samuel and Marching Ants' Alchemy Calender 2008. I can't even begin to make anything of this outfit. Singularly that corset top and those denims are fine but both together? I hate the whole bare midriff look for 'formal' events, its just so tacky!

If this happened in Hollywood, heads would have rolled. Stylists would have been fired and fashion houses would be sending apologies to stars for sending two people the same dress!


Alas, we don't really have that concept in India. The personal stylist. He/She, who keeps track of every event happening and who is wearing what to that event, so that his/her client will never show up wearing something someone else was just photographed in.
