Carrie In Naeem Again!

While celebrities like to beat the common crowd and be fashion forward with trends and seasons, Carrie Underwood turned a page and went a season back. We first spotted her wearing a Naeem Khan from his Resort 2008 collection and now we see her wearing another Naeem Khan from his Fall 2007 collection.

And if she was trying to pass this look off as vintage, she can't pull that off on us. A season old ain't vintage. It is just old!

Personally, I would have loved to see her in this dress, my favorite from his Fall 2008 collection. Maybe, someone else will snag this one and wear it to the Oscars! (Anyone but Eva!) My fingers are crossed!

NYFW: Naeem Khan

We love Naeem Khan and its been a major gush-fest here...There is a reason why Naeem Khan is so popular on the red carpet, and, one look at his Fall collection and you know exactly why!

There were all sorts of prints, graphic, exotic, digitized Ikat, there were feathers, embellishments and sequins, there was drama and there was glamor! There had to be, after all Naeem Khan described his Fall show as, "A concentrated dose of glamour"!

Its hard to pick favorites but how gorgeous is that plum gown with crystal embellishment, or that flowy Ikat gown? And those cocktail dresses...

We'l be sure to see Naeem Khan on the red carpet (Oscars, Oscars, Oscars) now, won't we?

Warm Upto A Cold Shoulder

Just a few days ago we began spotting celebrities baring their shoulders and we of course knew it was only a matter of time before that trend caught on across the board considering how many designers worked that look in their Spring/Summer 2008 collections!

Its perfect for women with great collar bones and shoulders; just dress up the outfit with great earrings or chunky bracelets or bangles, or even a fabulous cocktail ring! Trick is to keep away from necklaces, just let the bare shoulders do the talking for you!

NY Fashion Week: Naeem Khan

Ok.. This post is really late..and if you consider a fashion timeline...this is six months too late..(Even though NYFW was just a few week ago!)

Naeem Khan's Spring 2008 collection was part of the NY Fashion Week and every piece, I thought, was just fabulous. Young or old, funky or chic, you are definitely going to find a piece that you will love love love!
