Again.

Urmila wore that denim dress at IIFA Bling for Biba event and soon after, at the press conference for a new reality show, 'Sangeet Ka Naya Gharana'...all within a few days!!

Tell us, without the celebrity wardrobes, or the flashbulbs going off everywhere, would you repeat the same outfit at two formal events within a span of days?

Not So Rosy

Spotted Urmila at a recent launch in a rosette crammed outfit that only reminded us of a Ramsey Brothers' lead protagonist charging at us with a hatchet, right out of the woods, rosette clad! Yes, the outfit was that nightmarish!

One look at Renee in Marchesa Fall 08 and you'll see, there is a way to do rosettes and then again, there is a how NOT to...

The Mini Bag

I never get why people carry tiny bags. For the amount of money that they cost, I could easily either get a real yummy clutch or add a little bit more and get a bigger bag.

What say you about them?

Bad And Bad: A FaceOff!

Urmila at a store launch came off looking like the 'desi' version of a Vegas showgirl- crystals, feathers, bling, et al! And Katrina, well, she looked like a leprechaun's pot of gold exploded all over her!

In the FaceOff between bad and bad, Kaif fares a bit better but thats no real compliment either, is it? Who gets your vote?

Urmila Can Hard(l)y Pull It Off!

At the Ed Hardy launch in Delhi, Urmila tried very hard to pull off the "I am cool" look! But her in Ed Hardy was more like oil on water. It just don't mix. No matter how much she pouts or sucks in her cheeks! She just can't pull this look off! Amrita and Sophie were fans of the brand way before Ed Hardy came to India. I wonder if Urmila even knew what it was until she was asked to walk for em.

Too Much "Bling" At Jhalak Dikhlaja Finals

And by "bling", I mean the blingy outfits worn by peeps to the Jhalak Dikhlaja finals. Seems like a little birdie warned Akki and Katrina and thats why they showed up in demure black outfits. Katrina was still nice enough and put on some bling by wearing a rhinestone belt. That was sweet, Katrina, but you shouldn't have. The outfit would have looked far better without the belt...

Johnny Come Lately?

Left: Gauri Khan
Right: Avanti Birla

We first spotted Gauri Khan in a Dolce and Gabbana outfit. Avanti Birla too donned on a Dolce and Gabbana outfit. Both sported that same wide belted waist. And then, weeks and weeks later, we saw Aishwarya wearing an outfit that had the same wide belted accent on the waist!

Right: Urmila

The same quite happened with the anarkali look too! We saw everyone flaunting the look much before we saw Aishwarya emerge in it!

Do you think its an intentional,'am-no-slave-to-fashion-stance' of hers, or she is just 'fashionably clueless'? Based on her former faux pas, one tends to believe the latter!

Will The Real "Anarkali" Please Stand Up!

Wow, we posted about the Anarkali trend a few days ago, and over the week we saw it almost everywhere and on everyone! Ms Matondkar herself was in the same silhouette three times in a row..

Diwali Ready?

The choicest Indian clothes are out and about and the festive season is resplendent with beautiful traditional clothes, one better than the other! But if you don't know what you should be buying, read on!

A must-have this season: Churidaar sleeves. Most designers are doing them in diaphanous chiffons giving it that translucent, delicate feel! I love it! If what worries you is the fact that you might not like these sleeves for too long, then worry not. They are going to be around for a while! However, if the romance does fizzle out for you, all you have to do is take them in to your trusted tailor and have the sleeves cut off to turn it into a sleeveless Kameez or have shorter sleeves attached!

The next big trend this season is the Anarkali style Salwar-Kameez! It looks great and fits wonderfully on all body-types (very flattering for those downward problem areas) and you can't resist a twirl in it!

Spotted: Gul, Urmila

Spotted the usually poorly styled Gul Panag at Anita Dongre's Organic Odyssey, looking quite pretty and well put together! She was wearing a really simple yet very pretty dress from Anita Dongre's collection and was looking good! But this repeat fashion offender is not totally off the hook yet. She was also carrying a Louis Vuitton bag and if you have been reading this blog, you know that we have a problem with 'obnoxious-logo-slapping-all-over-the-product' type of bags!
