We saw Anna wearing a Shane & Falguni to the Swarovski "Runway Rocks" show and Sabina wearing a Sabyasachi to Hello Magazine's first anniversary event.

What's Fashion Week Without Drama!

Well, we all know about the "slip" that happened at Rajesh Pratap Singh's show, then there was the model Priya, who stumbled and fell during Charu Parasher's show.

But, the catfight has just begun and it is between designer duo Shane & Falguni Peacock and Manav Gangwani! Well, both of them in their collection had this distinctive dress that not only had very similar "rosette" work but the dresses were also in similar colors.

Though, Manav showcased his collection first, it still does not mean that he is completely in the clear! Well, we will never know though who copied whom, will we? Unless, there is a disgruntled assistant somewhere out there who wants to spill his/her beans!

WLIFW: Falguni & Shane Peacock

Falguni & Shane Peacock's collection, 'Women Doll' had colorful digitized prints that combined floral motifs, animal prints and bursts of color often accented by crystals and beads as embellishments. The colors were bright, and the silhouettes were for the most part free flowing.

For their first U.S. showing at LA Fashion Week, Shane and Falguni Peacock's collection surely dazzled on the ramp! Prints has always been a staple in their designs, but this collection, which had bold prints coupled with bright colors was just breathtaking!

They are also showing at WLIFW, a few days from today, so hopefully we get to see an encore of this fabulous collection!

Warm Upto A Cold Shoulder

Just a few days ago we began spotting celebrities baring their shoulders and we of course knew it was only a matter of time before that trend caught on across the board considering how many designers worked that look in their Spring/Summer 2008 collections!

Its perfect for women with great collar bones and shoulders; just dress up the outfit with great earrings or chunky bracelets or bangles, or even a fabulous cocktail ring! Trick is to keep away from necklaces, just let the bare shoulders do the talking for you!

Day 5: Falguni And Shane Peacock

I really liked Falguni and Shane Peacock's collection. The colors were bright, prints were delightful, embellishments were well thought out and the cuts worked. The collection was a smorgasbord of luxurious fabrics, prints, colors and textures!

I didn't care for the longer gowns, but the shorter ones and the tops worked! Sure, some pieces were OTT but they were OTT in a kitschy way so I can't really complain.

What I can't get over is our Bollywood obsession. Amrita Arora walked the ramp. In some monstrosity. Looking quite out of her element and trying way too hard. Do people still say 'whatever' ? Because, I'd like to. Whatever.

Barring the celeb intrusion, loved the show.

Thats Sameera Reddy, flanked by models on either side, in Mumbai at the preview of fashion designers Falguni and Shane Peacock’s Spring/Summer 2008 collection and in one of their outfits!

I don't care for the actual outfit that Sameera is wearing but what the other two models are wearing looks really interesting! If these pieces are anything to go by, the collection definitely looks promising and I'd love to look at more pieces from the collection...
