What's Fashion Week Without Drama!

Well, we all know about the "slip" that happened at Rajesh Pratap Singh's show, then there was the model Priya, who stumbled and fell during Charu Parasher's show.

But, the catfight has just begun and it is between designer duo Shane & Falguni Peacock and Manav Gangwani! Well, both of them in their collection had this distinctive dress that not only had very similar "rosette" work but the dresses were also in similar colors.

Though, Manav showcased his collection first, it still does not mean that he is completely in the clear! Well, we will never know though who copied whom, will we? Unless, there is a disgruntled assistant somewhere out there who wants to spill his/her beans!

WLIFW: Rathore Jodhpur By Raghavendra Rathore

As the label suggests, there were plenty of jodhpurs on display at Raghavendra Rathore's collection for his label "Jodhpur". The menswear consisted of fitted jackets over smartly tailored jodhpurs in whites and blacks. The womens wear had dresses, tunics, skirts in beige, yellow, plum and burgundy.

'Mystique' by Renu Tandon offered a feminine collection with the dominant colors being purple, aubergine and fuchsia. There were balloon dresses, kaftans, and tunics in velvets, chiffons and silks.

WLIFW: Anant By Shobhna & Vijay Arora

Shobhna & Vijay Arora's collection "Anant" was targeted for the "yummy" moms and "cool" dads. The menswear consisted of denim joshpurs and batik tops. The womens collection centred more on evening wear, with saris and fitted suits made from chiffon and net.

Charu Parasher's collection consisted of anarkali style dresses and gowns. The title of the collection was 'Mysteriously seductive diva will be dressed in vintage style'. Vintage style was indeed showcased using fabrics like velvet, chiffons and georgettes accentuated with gold trimmings. The color palette consisted of maroon, plum, aubergine and purple.

WLIFW: Ashish, Viral & Vikrant For Virtues

Rajasthani and Gujarati influences were easily recognized in the collection presented by Ashish, Viral & Vikrant for Virtues. The collection had a heavy dose of kalamkari work. Long angrakha kurtas, robes with panels and dresses in raw silk dominated the collection. The color palette was a mix of earthy browns, rusty reds, greens and maroons.
