Some Damage Control?

Found Sonam Kapoor looking very proper and dainty at the inauguration of FICCI Frames 2008, the annual convention of media and entertainment industry in Mumbai...perhaps, as a measure to do some damage control over her Facebook Leak??!?

But why, oh why, did she have to go ruining a perfectly good outfit with that horrendous hairdo?

No More Sakina

Now that "Saawariya" is old news, someone is breaking free from the "Sakina" avatar. A glammed up Sonam Kapoor attended the "Sony United Endeavor" to promote Saawariya again.

While I love her dress, the slip-on flats just look so bleh.



And those tacky curls just remind me of Ash in "Kyun Ho Gaya Na". I have yet to see someone look good in fake curls!

I know I am being evil here but I look at this pic of Joely Richardson(Nip/Tuck) and all that came into my head was "Sonam.. Sonam.. Sonam".

It's All In The Family!

The Niece: While I do like two-toned shoes, Sonam's look more clownish because of her two toned outfit! Would love to see her in an all-black outfit and then sport these shoes..

The Aunt: Big rule of stripes. Always wear vertical stripes. They make you look taller. But, Sridevi's jacket is doing nothing for her and just making me dizzy!

And thats how Sonam Kapoor turned out to celebrate Children's Day. Nice, but that dress? She needs to fire her stylist. Pronto.

Thats a print I'd expect on a wall, in an off-the-way old English bed and breakfast. Even then, I wouldn't stay.

A Double Take..

That is what we took because at first glance, the two outfits (Rani's and Sonam's) looked so similar, we wondered if it was the same one..

Well the bad news ( Yes.. I said bad news!).. is that it isn't..and the reason that it is bad news is because the churidar style that Sonam wore would have been a thousand times better than the pyjama pants that Rani sported!

And then we would have had a different headline.. and maybe it would have said "Who wore it better?" and maybe Rani would have fared better in that regard!

What's up with Sonam wearing gold flats with black panty hose?


If you are going to dance.. don't wear a short flwy dress. If you are gonna dance and wear a short flowy dress...don't wear sheer black panty hose. If you are going to dance and wear a short dress with sheer black panty hose, don't wear gold flats!

Saawariya Music Launch

Sonam Kapoor finally made her debut in front of the press at the music launch of Saawariya. I, obviously, was very curious to see what she would be wearing to her first public appearance and she didn't disappoint.

I love the outfit Sonam is wearing. The girl looks gorgeous. Who would believe she used to weigh 90 kgs!



Rani looks fabulous in an aubergine Anuradha Vakil sari. Her necklace is a perfect accompaniment to the sari, matching the detailed stitching. Another good choice was keeping the hand jewelry simple, with just a pair of gold bangles.



Ranbir's velvet jacket with the blue shirt just doesn't seem to be gelling.



Cannot wait to see more of Anuradha Vakil's designs in the movie!
