Spotted Manisha Koirala during the Lakme Fashion Week looking as she did and a double-take was but coming of course! Whatever happened to her? That ridiculous color in her hair, the neon'esque lip color and that ill, ill-fitting suit! Gawd! She tried to go à la Simi but didn't quite work did it? They both even had the white and gold Luis Vuittons but while one looked timeless, the other looked like a snow capped nightmare! Needless to say which was which am sure?

Be'jewelled: Get The Look

If you haven't noticed, necklines embellished with jewelled accents are all over the place and while its a look lot of people seem to crave, its not entirely easy on the pocket and neither does its fate lie decided over the next fashion season or two as far as its longevity is concerned!

So here's a way you can make that look work for you! If its Simi's look you need and want, just pin a pretty kundan 'maang tikka', or any gemstone (of your preference) 'maang tikka' onto the neckline! If its a more understated look, like Minissha's, you crave after, then all you have to do is pin an elegant brooch on that neckline. One screams for attention, another makes a demure point, either way, its a great way to make a statement for now!

Book Launch Launches Bag'mania..

.. for us anyway!

The book launch in question was the photo-essay book about Sunil and Nargis Dutt written by their daughters Priya and Namrata. As usual, not only were the who's who of Mumbai present but also making an appearance were their bags!

We (Well Heeled and I) couldn't stop "oooh-ing" the uber-expensive Bottega Veneta Lizard clutch carried by Gauri Khan. (Life is really good when you are SRK's wife!)
