Not really! We didn't like what Madhuri wore to the Bombay Times 13th Anniversary Bash. Is this what happens if you stay in the US for that long. Come on, Yash Raj Films can afford to shower some designer saris on her!



Our note to you, stay clear of Shobha De's cocktail sari collection! If what she is wearing is a part of the collection, you do not want to be caught dead in 'em!!

Too Much Print?

The Good: Kareena's flower print kurta has a darker print which could be bad, but, the deep V embellished neckline and the lining on the edge of the kurta, both done up in bright colors make the kurta pop.

The Bad: Deepika'a dress seems to have been inspired by the jungle. I think I spot a leopard, a zebra and even a giraffe on that dress.

The Ugly: One look at Hrishita's dress and you know for sure this movie has no budget for clothes. Her dress seems to have been cut out of old curtains and not adding to the cause is the layered grandma lace!

Bow Down To The Waist

A trend that I see is of bows, ties, and ribbon detailing at the waist which can come off as a bit much, but when rightly done, can give that 'girly' look just the right edge!

I love the ribbon-bow detaling on Katherine Heigl's trousers that go onto soften her rather severe suit nicely! Also spotted a quite casual avatar of Beyonce's, after her recently concluded World Tour, also working the ribbon-bow detail on her waist. While the former's waist feminized her formal look, the latter's, dressed-up her dressed-down look!

Chloe Sevigny wore hers on a form we are used to seeing, on a dress, at the New York premiere of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.

While the look is great, I wouldn't recommend it for all body types since it does draw attention to the area it is being sported on! And how!

Fur Flurry

I don't quite understand Dimple's choice of bag either and while I get Payal's lament over the color clash, what confounds me even more, is the fox fur trim on the bag. Fox fur in Mumbai weather? Seriously? Even if its an itty-bitty trim, unless the temperatures take a serious nose-dive, its such a no-no!

But if the bag did catch your fancy, it can be yours for $2495 and comes with drawstring closure, tassels with bamboo detail and fox fur trim among other accents!

Color Clash

I would kill to look as good as Dimple. She is always dressed to the nines. So I was a little puzzled as to why she chose to pair her bright peach sari with the dull brown Gucci tote. The bag seems so out of place!
