I have been looking at accessories of various designers' from their Spring Ready To Wear 2008 collections and some of these 'crazy-super-over-the-top' shoes jumped out at me..
love them! especially the Louboutin & Yves Saint Laurent... shoes should be creative & standout, not boring - unless it's ur clothes that u want highlighted
I totally agree.. though to sport such shoes you just have to have the ability to carry em' off, else they could only contribute to tawdry, fashion-on-crack type looks! Call it bias, but I'd urge people to find a middle ground! That Marc Jacobs one looks positively scary!

dear lord! i am especially fascinated by the lamp shade one. ooh also the one that looks like a cross between a horse and a rose bush.
